ISO 9001:2015 is the latest, globally recognised version of quality certification. It represents the most appropriate tool to accompany companies and organisations along an ongoing path of improved processes. That is done by identifying operational methods capable of ensuring consistency in the features of their own products, which must meet and exceed the minimum legal requirements.
Giordano Poultry Plast recently obtained, from the Swiss certifying body QS International, ISO 9001:2015 for the totality of its production activities.
Launched in 2021 for its Valery Technologies division, which provides primary international pharmaceutical industries with vaccination devices, the certification has been extended this year to the entire GPP production, including the design and manufacture of plastic material products.
The skilfulness of the resources employed is the cornerstone of this certification process. It must be real, demonstrable and “total”. Whereas, in fact, in the previous version of the specifications such skilfulness was only demanded of the staff performing work in direct connection with the product, in the latest version, the one applied to GPP, this skilfulness is extended to all professional figures (both internal and external) discharging a function somehow capable of affecting the performance and efficiency of the quality management system.
